The Best Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe Ever
This is not your grandma’s “Nestlé” chocolate chip cookie recipe (FRIENDS reference anyone? LOL). These cookies are guaranteed to come out soft, gooey, and chewy! Word of advice, make more than you think you need because these are addicting and they will go fast!
Ingredients:
2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
*leave butter out at room temperature for at least 30 minutes to soften.
1 tsp. baking soda
1 cup butter softened*
¼ cup granulated sugar
¾ cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1 package (4 serving size) Jello-brand vanilla flavor instant pudding
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 ½ package of chocolate chips
Pro tip: use parchment paper that had a grid on it, so you can make sure to evenly space out the cookies. It’s not the worst thing when they smash together, but you want to give them room to spread out!
Mix flour with baking soda, set aside. Combine butter with sugars, pudding mix, and vanilla in large mixing bowl; beat until smooth and creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour mixture; then stir in chips. Batter will be stiff. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets, about 2 inches apart. Bake at 375° for 8-10 minutes. This recipe makes 3-4 dozen depending on the size of cookies.
If you want your cookies to be sweeter, I would suggest using sweeter chocolate chips. For me I like to use a mix of semi-sweet chocolate chips and chunks, but you can add any kind. I’ve heard the Reese’s peanut butter chips are really goo din this recipe!
